# Math problem watch

1. T=5/V+1

Make V the subject of the formula. Urgent!!?
2. Hint: Start by moving the 1 over to the other side.

3. First thing to do is get V off the denominator then do the rest
4. Is it T=5/(V+1) or T=(5/V)+1

If it’s the first:
Multiply both sides by (V+1): TV+T=5
Divide by T: V+1=5/T
Minus the one: V=(5/T)-1

If it’s the second:
Minus 1: T-1=5/V
Times by V: V(T-1)=5
Divide by (T-1): V=5/(T-1)
