Third ionisation energy definition chemistry a level

How would you define 'third ionisation energy' ?
The energy required to remove one electron from 1 mole of 2+ gaseous ions to form 3+ ions.
***1 mole of electrons from 1 mole of 2 gaseous ions to form 3 ions, (after the first and second moles of electrons have been removed, which is first and second ionisation energies)
