If you're an aspiring doctor thinking of applying to medicine, or you've done a degree and are applying as a graduate either to standard medicine courses or specific graduate entry medicine (GEM) courses, I have been writing about what helped and what didn't help during my process to getting into medical school. I'm just writing in my free time so nothing serious but it might give you ideas about how to study for things like the UKCAT or GAMSAT and provide a useful way of finding resources that will help you in your studies!
Have a look!
Here's my blog: The Wall of Winter Blues
If you'd like a sneak peek here's a sample The Love Virus
I interviewed 100 graduates 10 years out of university about their career paths and their advice for a younger generation.
Some of the interviews and insights as well as other career advice articles are on my blog:
There is some great advice offered by the interviewees which lots of them learned by making mistakes in their 20's.
Hope it helps,
My website isn't (yet) a blog, but I am a professional proofreader and editor specialising in academic writing, and I am intending to launch a blog soon with writing tips, dissertation help, and topics related to English for Academic Purposes to help students at UK universities submit high-quality assignments and research. If anyone has any particular issues or challenges, I'd love to hear about them as potential topics to address on my blog.
My name is Chris. I'm 19 years old, and finished my A Levels last year. I'm not from a rich family and have very little savings. I went to australia as my gap year in order to learn new things and get out of a bubble. Ive fallen in love with the place, and want to study and live here indefinitely. However, as many know, we dont get student loans for Aus, and its very expensive. Here is how I will manage to make enough to study, and live my dreams. Hope you guys can too
where i post occasionally with updates. My blog is about my journey to becoming a singer/Songwriter
My grades are average, not outstanding.
Post revision and non-revision related stuff, often go on about my stomach and food. Usually put in some form of joke, often involving toilet humour.
