    Hi

Im planning on going into uni next year. My problem is i got MMP grade. The entry requirenments for the course i want to study ( crime justice and criminology at uni of hertfordshire ) is MMM - DMM. i am also retaking my maths and english this year privately. Over all i have 180+ ucas points to study this course you need at least 112
I got MMP not because college was too hard or i was too lazy to actually put an effort into my assignments. it was due to health problems which affected my grades.
Is there any chance i could still get into this university ?

You could contact the uni admissions and ask if you could still be considered due to extenuating circumstances, they will be able to answer better than us

you can totally apply but do be prepared to be disappointed and have back up plan they might let you in particularly if it's a "good" MMP You'll at least be in a better position than most people going through clearing but yeah have a back up plan that your happy with if you don't receive an offer. Are the collage aware of the health concerns they should mention it on your reference unless you ask them not to.

Give them a ring and speak to an admissions tutor in the department, talk about yourself and why you are passionate about your subject and how you have managed to succeed in spite of health problems and they may tell you to apply and that it will not be a problem. There is often some degree of flexibility in acceptance grades unless a uni is massively popular and oversubscribed. There is no harm in trying, the worst they can say is no and then you just go somewhere else.
