    Hi
I am wondering how supportive are your parents with regards to GCSE. I am in year 10 and feel out of depth and overwhelmed with hw and subject topics . Does your parents help you in any way ?

My parents support me but don't help me with my homework. I'm also in year 10 and I have a lot of work but I find myself not asking for help or support. I just do the work when it's set. If you're talking about struggling with the work itself then I'd advise you speak to a teacher and ask them to go through it wth you. Starting your GCSE's mean a lot more independence so it's probably best you don't have your parents pushing you through it. Saying this, if you're really struggling with the work load you should always talk it through with your parents.
