I'm struggling with a question concerning resolution in digital images. 'A satellite system to image the earth's surface is designed to have a resolution of 10m per pixel and cover an area of 100km^2 in each image. Calculate the number of pixels required to achieve this resolution. I'd be fine with this question if it gave just the width of the image. But it has given me the area instead, which has stumped me. The answer to this question is 1000000 pixels, but I don't know how to get that answer
