Hello, I have started year 1 of my computer games technology course at Portsmouth. The problem is I feel like I shouldn't have moved so far away to do my degree.I live in Norwich and I now live in halls here, but my dilemma is the fact that Anglia Ruskin University offer Computer Gaming Technology which is very similar and I was thinking that I could potentially transfer there in year 2. I'm not sure if that's what I want to do 100% as I would need to commute there for around 1 hour on the train. Also Portsmouth is a higher ranked university so I;m not sure what impact that could have on jobs? What do you guys think I should do?

Do you enjoy it at your current university?
Why do you think you shouldn't have moved so far away? How is it affecting you? 1 hour commute is a long time. I wouldn't want to commute myself. Also trains are not always very reliable these days. You could miss out on important lectures.
You also need to remember that courses of similar names can at times have very different content. What if you don't enjoy your new university? What then?
