    Hi guys.

Just wondering who pays board, and how much a month? I owe my mum a bit of money and now I'm working nearly full time hours I'd like to pay her a set amount a month to pay debts off/pay her board, but not sure what people tend to pay? I have approx £490 outgoings before anything else..

    Thank you

I pay my mum 50 a week because i work full time and contribute to eating all the food. It's not for rent, it just covers the cost of everything I use that she pays for. The rule was as long as I'm not in education I contribute

I completely agree with this, if you’re working full time then you should help your parents.
