Hi. I'm an international student, so my referee and I have had some difficulty navigating the process. I finished my application on time, but my referee approved it 5 hours after 18:00. Do I still have a chance at having my application considered? Should I try to call/email anyone?

Your application is considered complete only after you have paid and sent it. What you're saying doesn't make sense: how could your referee have "approved" it five hours later?

The deadline for Oxford and Cambridge and for certain courses is 15 October 2017, 18:00. If you weren't applying for those courses, you can still submit as usual.

Just a note: if something is important to you and involves a deadline, I would get it completed well before the deadline to avoid situations like this!
