I've got a horrific pain in the middle of my chest that's been there for about 15/16 hours now, tried to sleep it off but to no avail.

Any ideas what it may be? I haven't got asthma and I've had lung issues before, but the pain is in a completely different place.

I should go to the doctors, I'm aware of that, but just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar?

I've always had chest pain even though I'm only 15. This is probably mostly due to my weight. I've tried thinning down a bit but to no avail. It might be a problem concerning your age or your weight and body shape... Or something completely different. By they way I'm a science student. Hope you are feeling better now. Hey... If it doesn't go away just go consult a doctor. Doctors always know something about it.

I don't know if this is correct, or helpful. However, I saw on a programme once that chest pain the the middle is less likely to do with your heart and can be caused by anxiety. I'm not a doctor though and I would still get it checked out.

    Still there...

I'm not anxious or worried about anything so not to sure what the issue is.
