Im 7 weeks into my current sixth form, which is very well known for its good grades and is a grammar school. But it takes me an hour to get to school and an hour and a half to get back, when I get home I'm always tired and I can barely do my work. I get home at 5:10 and go to sleep at 9:30 because I'm so tired. I'm not very happy at my current 6th form. There is another 6th form which is ten minutes away from my house but isn't as well known as my current 6th form. They still get good grades and the class sizes ranges from 6-16. I don't know if to leave and join this 6th form or just stick it out at my current 6th form

if you're unhappy, change. Reputation doesn't mean anything. I'm currently going to 'the best in the area' and its terrible and i'd love to have another option. You can swap if you feel the current place isn't suiting you

If this other sixth form also has good grades then definitely try and switch, make sure they are doing the same specification as woukd you've been doing already though

It will be difficult to switch this late on if you're doing History/English lit type subjects, as different schools will probably be studying different periods of history/books.

If you're doing sciences/maths/languages, though the exam boards may be different, it's still generally the same content so you shouldn't have as many problems
