No, waste of money and space which could be better used elsewhere.

I don't see a problem with it to be honest. Then again I don't like using public restrooms, because they're just not nice half the time. So I use my toilet at home, which is, guess what, Gender neutral. There's no girls and boys, there's just the toilet.
But I can see where people come from and why they say no. Maybe they should have boys, girls and gender neutral dotted around to accommodate everyone without 'pushing' it on others?

Third Transgender toilets - No. The state (and state institutions) should not be pandering to people who represent a very small minority. It is like saying schools should let Muslim students pray on a Friday.

Gender neutral toilets - Not against in principle but you'd end up with the more sexually experienced students going at it in the bathrooms or something. Not a good idea in practise.

No sir.. in this case it would be a poor and needless change to move against the status-quo of toilets.
Idiot. Muslim students pray at lunchtime. They were allowed in my old school. They are allowed in my new school (different town). It's a normal thing!

But yes, I agree with you on the other reason.

Lunch is their own time. I'm talking about letting them do the whole five times per day by leaving class (in which case it's fundamentally wrong to put religion over education).

I'm sorry, but it's a TOILET. Why do people care so much about where they have a dump?
I hope this leftist bs goes away soon.

Edit: also wouldn't we rather the government put money into schools for them to give better education rather than paying for toilets because some people are getting butthurt?

well English schools have managed perfectly well without for the last thousand years :dontknow:
Yeah well English school managed perfectly well without girls and poor people for the past 700 years as well. 1000 years ago there was a total of 2 schools in England, and those were strange monasteries.

If anybody in a toilet is more concerned about other people than actually releasing waste they really need to rethink their mindset.

As a trans person, I don't care where I go to the bathroom; it's cis people who take an issue with me. Also, it's entirely possible to just...take the m/f signs of a toilet. Bam. Gender neutral.

Yes? There are already gender neutral bathrooms in restaurants , and some schools like for staff.
Some restaurants have the "family bathroom" as in gender neutral.

Urm no. Why must schools who have tight budgets, have to spend money on such facilities that will only benifit a handful of students. This country seems to go out of it's way to accomandate the very niche minorities and yet the majorities suffer. Also if you have gender neutural toilets it might need to a rise of creeps and possible sexual assults or stuff of that nature, where someone will probably just suggest women only toilets. Which just defeats equality.

If ain't broken, don't fix it.

Personally I think this gender neutral and gender fluid and transgender and whatever is just ridiculous. You are born as a man or a woman and it as binary as binary coding can get - you are one or the other. Yes it's okay to perceive you thoughts and feelings as one typical of the opposite sex but it doesn't make you any more or less of a man or woman. Leading to gender neutral bathrooms abolishes the main purposes of gender specific bathrooms, I'm sure a high percentage of the female population would, as an example, want to use bathrooms which do not have men in there, for it promotes problems such as paedophillia and other sex related offences from men sharing the same bathroom. I also think it will result in many people questioning their gender, despite it being unquestionable in the first place as you are only male or female. You don't fix things that arent broken in the same way you don't solve a problem when it's not a problem in the first place. Male and female and a disabled toilets are good enough and have been for a very long time so why so desperate for a change?

At my school the two trans kids used the toilet for people who are handicapped at the start. Since it’s a genderneutral toilet it isn’t a problem. When they felt more comfortable with themselves and others they switched to their own toilets. Works perfectly!
