With a maths degree there are so many options but for a medical degree it seems like there is only 1 path which is to become a doctor you can specialize in many different areas of medicine but at the end of a day you are a doctor of some sort.If someone has a medical degree and they decide that they no longer want to practice medicine what sort of career options do they have?Just out of interest as in school we discussed that medicine is a vocational course unlike history for example.

Health Journalist. Medical Teacher. Medical/ Pharmaceutical Researcher. Investment banker. Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging Director. Transplant Coordinator. Occupational Physician. Medical Legal Advisor.

There are so many other paths which can be taken with a medical degree.

Well it's still a respected degree, so I'd assume you could do most graduate jobs that don't require a specific degree subject?

My chemistry teacher had a medicine degree and decided she didn't want to be a doctor anymore so decided to be a chemistry teacher instead. She taught both GCSE and A Level. From this I'm assuming you can become a science or maybe even maths teacher in a secondary school
