    Hi there,

I have a hypothetical question. Let's assume I applied for medicine through UCAS recently (3 weeks ago or so), and have been diagnosed with severe depression today/recently.

Since there are entry exams that need to be sat, would I have to notify the universities about the possibility of it affecting my performance? Would I be "looked down" upon by the admissions team if the course were to be medicine-oriented, especially at Oxbridge/UCL? And, would my college have to be notified of it as well, or could it just be kept confidential between me and the universities? Or would it be best to perhaps withdraw all applications?

    All just hypothetical. Just wondering.

    Thanks

declaring anything is a choice but they can't discriminate if you do, they would expect you to declare it to occupational health but if your condition is well managed then all they will do is offer you support if you need it.
