My friend is currently doing A level Physics Business and Maths and the EPQ. He wants to self study AS Further Maths, Accounting and Computer Science but says he can handle it he thinks but is unsure if this will impact him greatly, but i dont see any point as unis dont really look upon AS grades i believe and self studying further maths is hard from what ive heard. BTW, he wants to do an accounting and finance degree.

trust me. i'm doing chem, bio, phy, further maths and maths. Doing just 5 is too much imo. He's gonna burn himself out and plus unis tend to look out for extra curricular activities and he wont have time to do those things if he does all these subjects.

Further maths is hard to self taught, unlike GCSe fm.

Yeah, ive told him its difficult to and that it would be a waste of time as unis only ask for 3 a levels at a2.
