Pro-tip split your leg day up and don't kill yourself on leg day

I don't have a "leg day" but I hate having bad DOMS that usually happen if I've had a break from the gym then go to heavy. Otherwise, no I don't feel any different.

Ever since I came back to uni and started playing basketball several times a week, I (miraculously) get no soreness following leg day.

I hit legs once a week.

You could totally get away with just doing squats, leg curls and calves, if you repeat this twice weekly.

I run conjugate and hit legs twice per week with high intensity oneday, and volume/dynamic effort on the other. I don't get DOMS and I squat 290kg. Do legs more often and your CNS will adapt.
