Hi. I am wondering is combined science the same as double science. I am doing the 9-1 course.

if you’re talking about the combined science trilogy then it’s the same - triple science would have 3 exams in each science and combined science would have 2 exams in each science just like double science, and each exam for each science would have a certain weight on the overall award which counts for just 1 gcse rather than triple’s 3 gcses

triple science = bio, chem, physics as 3 separate gcses
combined = 2 gcses
core = 1 gcse
