Racism was an issue I experienced everyday throughout high school. Even now that I'm 18, there would still be random people making racist comments towards/about me very regularly.

Just today I was walking home from uni and these 2 boys looked at me weirdly. It was when I walked past them I heard them laugh and say stuff like "konnichiwa" like ?!?!? If you're gonna say something then have the guts to say it to my face and second, I'm not even Japanese so.

I know I should probably just ignore it but it honestly upsets and angers me so much. It baffles me why people think it's okay to behave this way. Back in high school I would never do anything about it whereas now I get so tempted to turn to them and say something about it. But at the same time I don't want to cause any trouble.

Anyway yeah I'd really appreciate advice on how to deal with this issue.

Just avoid them. You'll probably never see them again
