I wear a suit for 6th form, and I happened to just buy my new one today for U6.

Anyway, black is always the best bet because it means it can go with ANY shirt, and depending on who you are / personality should dictate the colour of shirts and ties that you wear. For instance, I often wear Black shirts with loud ties (pinks/oranges etc.) I actually bought a light pink shirt today, I have a much darker pink tie or a muted grey/black tie that will go with it.

Be daring, you don't want to look the same as everyone else.

I wear a pink shirt with a grey tie with my black/grey pinstriped suit =| I didn't think there was anything too criminal about that! *scared by the comments in this thread*

edit: wasn't for sixth form though! God that'd be horrible.

You have to wear SUITS to sixth form? Oh dear..

Anyways.. pink shirts are sexy on some boys

And as for the colours of suits.. I've always thought that black was too funeral-like, grey too insubstantial looking, so dark navy suits are the best

Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!
I wear a white shirt, black suit and some nice tasteful ties. Don't want to look like either the camp boys or the "stylish" () boys.
Never black unless you're going to a funeral

I'd be so miffed if I had to wear a uniform or follow a strict dress code at school... yesterday I was dressed in a bright orange striped skirt and a bright orange sun top... today I wore low slung black jeans and a bright pink, partly see-through top with floaty sleeves and gold embroidery! I'd get kicked out

In my honest opinion, I believe that uniform should be instituted across the country. It installs a sense of discipline and order for students - something they are severely lacking in at the moment.

But I concede I am constantly casting my eyes back to past decades. Our society is *far* too liberal for my tastes.

As for the pink thing - ugh. Why not put fluffy rings on their ears and have multicoloured socked while you're at it? Or tights....

*sings* We're men.... men in tiiiights. We roam around the forest, looking for fights!

Wow. The guys at my college would look so much hotter if they wore suits rather than the slept-in-a-ditch-for-the-last-three-years look.
