    Hey everyone

    Just wanted to know what the procedures of the National Bar Mock Trials would be like and the what the different roles involve? (Prosecution barrister/witness, etc?)

    I did the Magistrates Mock Trial in Year8 and 9 and participated in the BMT last year (year 12).

    There's a whole big team and the procedure is quite long (it's fixed..you get given a plan by the organisers).

    You have your team split into 2 sides..prosecution and defence.

    There's diff roles like 2 prosecution and defence lawyers, 4 witnesses, 5 magistrates, usher, court clerk, court artist.

    12KK - this means you will be giving evidence to support the fact that the defendant is guilty.
