    this is like a true crisis for me every morning, because it's getting darker each day and i just cant bring myself to wake up (i'm terrible in the mornings as it is). any advice on getting past that morning darkness and properly getting ready?

    There are alarm clocks that are supposed to mimic natural sunlight so you wake up "naturally"

    I used to have an alarm app that made me do mental arithmetic if I wanted to turn off teh sound.

    A neighbour had one of them siren alarm clocks. Entire street would wake up but he managed to sleep through it.
