I am a Canadian guy that has always been curious about how does immigration work in Britain. I have always wondered if there’s a difference or boundaries between a Natural-Born Citizen and a Naturalized-Citizen.

Can Anyone here help me out xDD?

    Hello.

Natural-Born is automatically conferred citizenship to people born in the UK to parents who are British Citizens.

Naturalisation is the acquisition of British citizenship by someone who held (or continues to hold) foreign citizenship.

Naturalisation requires legally entitled (visa authority) foreign citizens, to be resident in the UK for a continuous period of five years, or married to a British Citizen and resident as a married couple together for three years continuous There are additional requirements including criminal record checks, good character, English language tests and knowledge of life in the UK tests.

Canada is a great country. I have several family members (around 20) living in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver and have spent probably six months in total over the years visiting and travelling the country.
