Anyone doing a PGCE (BIOLOGY) at Sunderland?

Hi,

I am applying to Sunderland to do a PGCE in secondary biology. I did my BSc at Sunderland a few years ago but I now have children in my life. The unversity have already told me that I can do placements in my home town but does anyone what the timetable is like for when I wouldn't be on placement?

Is there anyone out there doing the PGCE at the moment? Do you go into university every day (M-F)? I'm trying to work out if I can travel in each day. Otherwise, I'll have to go for a local SCITT,

University of Coventry is offering pgce where you don't have to attend University, instead they will give you placement in your town and other support you receive is online
