Hi I have just started studying this course as it's equivalent of one A level.

I'm studying unit 1, 2 and 3 as the mandatory units and I'm not sure about the other optional unit.

I know that units 1 and 2 are external and unit 3 is internal.

Can someone explain to me briefly what you have to do for unit 3? And how long does it take?

I heard that one of the external exams is 10 hours long and is split up into sessions over the academic week, if you split 10 hours into 5 week days does that mean you have to spend 5 hours each week day doing the exam in that designated week?

Would it be possible for me to do this course In this academic year so in 2018/19 I have one less subject?

How does this course work in relation to grading? If you do it in 2 years, at the end of your first year do you get a grade like the equivalent of an AS?
Or do you just get modular results and get a whole A level grade when you cash in at the end of the two years?

    Thanks
