at tesco i think the night shift hours were 10pm - 6pm (So an hour less each way).

Also mr monk, or however i need to address you in the future, you are going down on the saturday (20th) are you?

As chance may have it, my best mate happened to apply to the same uni so I am probably going out on the first day there to get a feel for the local life.

My mate will be in the flats right next to yours as well, he is in woodvale.

What subject are you doing by the way? I'm sure I know this but its kind of slipped my mind at the moment.

Yes I should be heading up the M1 on the 20th.

Just got the pile of stuff from Sheffield Union, this year's Fresher's Ball (on the 4th October) will have the theme of James Bond... tickets priced at £25 a piece.

I've got a couple of people that I know either from 6th Form, or when they left at GCSE, went to a different college, that are coming up to Sheffield Uni, so it won't be quite so bad.

And for the upteenth time somewhere on this forum... BA Accounting & Financial Management and Mathematics.

heres a good tip for u, goto www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk and search up jobs in the category u want (eg, retail/sales) and in the town u be studyin in - then ring up the jobseekers direct number and ask them to send u application forms quotin the job code..

i think my mate just applied to the cheapest one he could. They look ok, and are in decent range of the campus. Nearer than ranmoor by about 2 minutes! See you there I guess!
