    Im 2nd year student and Im thinking to switch to year in Industry. Would I still get funded on my year in Industry?

    Hi DeveloperCSS,

    If the year in industry forms part of the course there would be funding available.

    What sort of funding would depend on where the placement is and how long it lasts.

    eg. If it was a full year placement (paid or unpaid) anywhere other than in a hospital, health or Local Authority, prison or probation sector you'd be entitled to tuition fee loan (if required) and the non means tested Reduced Rate of Maintenance Loan.

    I would be looking at 1 year internship which is part of my course in a computing/IT company

    That would fit in the example given. If you speak to your university about changing to that version of the course they can send us the updates and we can make the changes to your application.
