I’ve been dating my boyfriend for about 10 months now. We are almost to our one year and things have been pretty rocky. At the beginning, he was all over me and texted me all the time, now don’t get me wrong, he’ll still like this just not as much. We’ve had a few rough patches and managed to get through them by agreeing to work things out but, I don’t know if it’s me or him, but I feel like sometimes has changed. I know he’s mad for me and god damn I am too, but I just feel a bit tense around him lately and expect a lot of things from him and basically I’ve just been really insecure. Bottom line is, I’ve found the root to our problems which is my insecurities, but they seem to not go away and if I don’t handle them and get myself under control, I could lose him.

This has been happening with me too. I have been in a relationship for almost 2 years and your situation is very common believe me. When me and my boyfriend are in a sticky situation we sit down and speak our minds, even if it may hurt it has to be done. Do not feel as if you cannot talk to him, he is your boyfriend...be honest and tell him how it makes you feel. Tell him straight and if he does not get it maybe it is best to move on.

We talk about things. I try and address the issue right away and so does he. He gets offended sometime as do I. I was wondering if it was normal, I just can’t understand why I am so insecure.
