I'm doing a BTEC Level 3 course in IT, highest grade I can get is DDM and I want to do Electronic Engineering but its clearly not an engineering BTEC so most/if not all won't accept me without doing a Foundation Year. If I did 3 A Levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, would this even be remotely necessary to avoid the Foundation Year?

Provided you attain the relevant grades in Maths/FM/Physics then why would you need to do a foundation...? You will have fulfilled the entry criteria as any other student who sat A-levels.

I'm doing a BTEC course right now, not A Levels, I want to know if its worth it doing A Levels alongside to avoid having to do the Foundation Year and if I even need to do 3?

Different universities have different requirements. You would be best off contacting the ones you're interested in directly.

Generally the usual falling point for the BTECs in Engineering are that they don't cover enough Math so A-level Maths would ensure you had the necessary background - Further Maths isn't required for the vast majority, although is beneficial long term. Given that you're not doing the BTEC in Engineering, you would probably need to do Physics as well however.

As above you should contact them to check, but either way it's unlikely you'll need to take FM. The other two are probable requirements though.
