I'm 16 and would like to go straight to Golf but my school don't do duke of Ed and there's a school nearby that does. Because I don't go to that school can I do it with them?

Of course you can! I did mine with the local youth club instead of my school AND I know someone who attended my school but played a different school's rugby team so it is possible. It's not a requirment that it has to be done with your or even any school, just as long as it's a registered DofE facility.
Phone or email the school and try to convince them to let you take part, tell them you're prepared to pay for everything and you're really keen on doing it.

I've emailed them. I've read that it costs £27 to do Gold but the school could charge me other fees, do.you have any estimate of the Max price it may cost me?

I take it I can go straight to Gold - I don't have to do bronze and/or silver first?

Is it necessary for me to be stressed about this? I really want to do it and i don't know much about it, will I be away all the time and will it interfere with my A levels?

    No, it's not.

If you don't know much, then keep researching it, keep asking questions.

And that's entirely up to you. This as much about you learning how to manage your time and your responsibilities that it is about just doing the bits to pass the award. The onus is on you to get it done, to sort it out. You're the one who wants to do it, so you should be the one to decide how much of an impact it has.

You've got until you're 25 to complete it, anyway, so it's not as if you've got to get it done in the next 18 months.

Worry about that when you get to it. You've a lot of work before then.

Also, why on earth did you need to be anonymous for this?
