    Hi there,

I have a strong feeling that my friend is gay. I would say all the signs are there. For example, he's on social media and he keeps putting gay stuff on about well, let's say, gay sex. He actually e-dated a boy online, not for long. He's not showing any sign of being interested in girls, he never has. We have been friends for nearly a decade now and have never dated. I once asked him out, but he shrugged me off. He seemed uncomfortable with it.

I don't think straight boys joke on about gay stuff like he does. I just need some advice, would you say he's gay? I'm just going to wait for him to come out, when he's ready. Anyway, it's got nothing to do with me when he comes out or anything like that.

Thanks to anybody who replies. Help appreciated!

It sounds possible, but maybe he shrugged you off because you had too close a relationship. But if he 'e-dated' a boy then he must have some interest!

The answer to you question is yes quite clearly... though I’m not sure why relevance this has to anything? Let him do what he likes

Thanks for the comments back. Really appreciated. I know it probably has no relevance. He's a really good friend, who is really caring. I would love him to be gay. I'm just going to wait for him to be comfortable with his sexuality, obviously and let him come out in his own time. Main thing is that he is happy.

sounds like he could be bisexual, but keep in mind if he doesn't want people to know then they shouldn't. Give him time to come out on his own, just remind him that you will be there to support him without forcing him to come out.
