For reference, I receive the £8500 loan from SFE studying at Cardiff, and I'm applying to different universities this year - I have no place yet though, am assuming I will by the time SFE opens for 2018/19.

I'm aware this will use my 'gift' year, but is there any difference in what I have to do to reapply this year, or will it automatically do so once I explain my change of university and for how long, etc?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi CastCuraga

You will apply as normal online, as normal when the applications open for 2018.

If your current university withdraw you from your course, you will need reapply as a New Student and provide identity and any eligibility evidence again.

Keep an eye on Facebook, Twitter and The Student Room for application launch dates

If you have only had that one year of previous study and as we allow one additional year of support, you can be confident that you should be entitled to full support for the length of your new course but not if you have to repeat any years in the future, without compelling personal reasons.

    Thanks Rona
