    How good do people find this university to be? Specifically for Law.

    I was considering applying there for the LLB Law course but decided to choose Kent as its much higher in the rankings and you are required pretty much the same grades... If you look at the amount of 1st class and 2.1 class degrees which come from City London, the statistics are really low...

    UWS went there (but didn't do law)

    At least that tells you the academics stick to their guns. There is a degree of intellectual honesty, therefore.

    I am not sure how big the difference is between City and Kent. The subject rankings are awful and should be ignored.

    City, London is a good university in certain subjects. You should do further research depedning on your choice of degree if you wanted more information regarding it.

    Quite. But my point was that City is not necessarily inferior to Kent simply because of subject rankings. Further research, I agree, is required.
