If you need it, and like the subject don't drop it. With Maths the only way to get good grades is to practice; regardless on what your abilities are.

When covering a topic using your textbook, try to understand the procedures from the example, and then do all the questions on the textbook. Then move onto exam style questions you can find online. Make it a daily habit to practice. You could even do 10minutes everyday of practicing questions (I usually do a set of questions before I head to my lecture at uni, so that I won't forget).

Look on the syllabus and see which textbook they recommend on their website. You could try and learn using textbook from other subjects (as you would have learned the same thing by the end of the year).

I didn't do Edexcel. Use the Pearson IAL one, along with a CGP textbook (and notes online, found on TSR).

There is no IAL textbook. That's why I am having so much trouble finding a good textbook. If you could recommend me any good textbook besides the revision guide,I would be very grateful.Did you do IAL for physics?
