There is no need to put pressure on yourself. Just make an appointment with your doctor and ask to be put on the pill or whatever form of contraception you wish to go on. Your doctor won't judge you for it whatsoever. A simple sentence like 'I was wondering if you could explain what type of contraception would be best for me' is a sure way for your GP to engage with you on the topic.

so i did this before with a nurse and she told me to go and research eash type and see which seemed best. my mother is a very protective person and if she knew then it would cause alot of trouble between us. i looked at the implant as the best option but im not sure how to make the appointment . do i make a normal appointment and just as for it or does it have to be planned?

The implant has to be planned as it is usually done by a doctor who specialises in that sort of thing.

You also need to bear in mind that if your mother is very protective etc and you get the implant, you may have to hide bruising from her. For example, this is what my arm looked like when I had the implant.
