    Hi everyone,

I'm not exactly sure as to where I should have posted this. But, I am quite keen on finding out which universities are best for PGCE's mainly Computer Science , as I am planning to apply for Teacher Training some time soon. I've looked at many rankings but they leave me utterly confused and spoil me for choice lol!

Would be great to get some great advice, personal experiences etc. Thank you

    Hiya:hi:

I've popped your thread into this sub-forum which deals with teacher-training courses including PGCEs.

Thanks for bringing your query to :tsr2:

It isn't the university that gives you good teacher training, it is the schools you end up training in. If you want to be the best, I suggest you start looking around at School Direct or SCHITT courses. I did School Direct which flanked the University core people. Except I knew which school I would be training at and I only actually spent 4 weeks at uni plus the odd Friday. My uni tutor was awesome but training in Outstanding Schools definitely gave me an edge I think. I am now working in an Outstanding school.
