    Hey guys!

So basically I am a Scottish student and have gained my bachelors degree in Architecture. I am currently working as a part one in a UK practice gaining experience to count towards my part 2. Now I am currently in a 6 month contract, and I fancy taking on a new challenge and experience something 'different'.

Here's where the issue lies... where do I start in terms of applying for interships/jobs abroad and how do I know these sites are genuine? I am interested in interning in places like NYC, Australia etc - I am open to different options.
The next question, how do I go about finding accommodation for say, a 6 month period? If I'm going through an internship program do these places offer accommodation for this short period of time?

Has anyone been in position and interned in NYC? what did you think about working abroad in comparison to working in the UK?

Any advice out with my questions would be greatly appreciated!!
