I am currently in year 11 and i'm starting to write my personal statement. There i have to include what i want to study in A-level.

I know my 3 subjects (maths, history and English Lit) but i'm not sure about my 4th subject (maybe politics). Also i am currently on a grade 7 in maths, but if i get grade 8 or above i will be able to do further maths (which i would like to do but if i get the 8/9).

So the question is, is politics in A-level interesting and useful if i want to study Law in uni? Also what happens if i end up getting a grade 8/9 in maths, can i change what i want to study after the results in August??

I just started AS level politics and I absolutely love it. Its definitely useful for law at uni and a lot of the stuff you learn is also taught in a level law.

You have until enrolment (on/just after results day) to change your options
