    Hi,
I am studying A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and History, and was wondering whether doing a History or History & Politics degree would be a good foundation for becoming a journalist? I would love to become a journalist for the BBC or for one of the big newspapers. Also, does anyone have any advice on becoming a journalist?
    Thanks!

Either would be a good foundation for a journalism career. Most of the journalists I have known did not study journalism at undergraduate level though many had a postgraduate qualification.
