i have been told by KCL to fill one in, should i be worried?

i was born in poland but i have lived in england since i was 6 (i am now 17). i have applied for a new polish passport as my previous one (also polish) has expired. i have been approved but i do not have it and i am not able to collect it till late july. i do have a polish national id.

should i have been sent one in the first place? and if so, can i sent a scanned in national id instead of a passport?

    thanks in advance

Just ring their international department and ask if its standard for all non UK citizens to be sent one. They may just be checking you meet the residence requirement. I wouldnt be worried you will get home fees.
