I want a career change that will require a BSc in Pharmacology. What sort of funding options are available for a second bachelors degree? I'm concerned that the £9k tuition fees are going to make university unaffordable for me.

Pharmacology is unlikely to be eligible for any funding so you might have to find a private loan somehow.

Hmm, I'd be looking at a £40-50k loan which I don't think I could get, maybe I could do pharmacy as a workaround? I know some people who have done that and then gone into pharmacology careers rather than pharmacy.

I would have thought medical related degrees like pharmacology would be funded though.

For whatever reason Pharmacy isn't considered an exception course in the same way that the NHS never covered the fees like it used to for nursing e.c.t and the last couple of years of medicine.
