Some unis like Bath that are considered semi targets offer placement years which may be in investment banks. If I do not make it to a target uni, is it better to go for a placement year or is it considered a waste of a year?
Can it make up for a summer internship?
    thanks

doesn't really matter, summer and placement years achieve the same thing: the opportunity to get a grad offer. placements are more limited in terms of area though
