Hi guys! I am doing my A levels in Phy Chem and Math. I have low grades at AS and low internal grades. But I do have a lot of EC's such as headboy, prefect, lots of community service hours, charity sales, MUN, debating, International Olympiads.

My SAT score is also good. Do you think its worth applying to these unis with low internal grades/high school transcripts yet good SAT ans EC's. I am thinking of applying to Purdue, UIUC and UT Austin for Aerospace engineering.

Nah actually I did a study abroad in Canada so probs similar academically to USA had basically I wasn’t cut out to study there at all. I’ve got good GCSEs a levels, on track for a 2:1 and even the intro classes I tried my best and did absolutely shocking

You probably have a fairly reasonable chance provided you have decent essays. Strong SAT scores (particularly in the quantitative/maths sections/subject tests) would likely ameliorate poorer internal results. How were your GCSEs?
