Following lectures, I like to do some more research in the area, particularly on anything I’m unsure on. This is mainly journal articles but can be textbooks in the library too. Then come revision time I like to work through the PowerPoints from lectures and my lecture notes to make colourful revision notes including sketches where required. Sounds pretty simple but it works for me! You can get really cheap copies of those coloured fine felt tips from any supermarket, and they make notes look so much more interesting!
