I’m 16 years old and currently in my first year (of 2) in college. I’m there 3 days a week, so I’ve got a fair number of days off.

Rather than doing nothing, I want to go out there and make use of that time so I want to get a job

I’m thinking of something basic like product/stock work.

Has anyone had any experience working at a store like ASDA or Tesco etc, at 16?

I read that they don’t allow under 18 at till since you can’t sell alcohol. But does that mean other jobs, such as shelf stacking can have 16 year olds apply?

How about McDonald's? They take on 16 year olds.
