    Hi,

Just wondering when universities say level 3 btec extended diploma accepted, despite me doing the same level qualifications, but instead doing 3 different subsidiaries to achieve the 3 grades is that still okay? I’m really worried.

I'm pretty sure as long as you have the three grades to meet their requirements i.e. for example DDM-MMM or D*DD or whatever they will accept it regardless. In saying that some uni's don't go off of tariff points, but I'm sure you will be ok wherever you're applying to. What were you're 3 subsidaries if you don't mind my asking?

Business, IT and sport. Finished first year, on course for 3 distinctions... also got an A in my epq on DR Congo’s economy; where I explored social, political and economical aspects of the country.

Hopefully going to study international relations at university... either Leeds, York, Lancaster, Birmingham or Southampton.....

Any chance of getting an offer you think?

    Thanks

Before you apply, check university websites carefully to see exactly what they say about BTECs. If you're still unsure, then email the university admissions, and they will be happy to let you know if your qualifications are suitable.

If your qualifications are suitable for a particular uni, you stand a good chance of getting an offer, but if your qualifications aren't suitable, then there isn't much point in applying.

There will definitely be some unis that will accept your qualifications as suitable, but it's worth checking all your choices before you apply to avoid wasting a choice.
