    Hey guys,

So basically I left Sixth Form in June and ended up with BBD in my A-levels. Most uni's want BBB/BBC generally so i'm going to retake the subject I got the D in, in order to maintain a better grade. My dilemma is so far I've had 3/5 offers (Cardiff, Birmingham and Liverpool). I prefer Birmingham as a uni but apparently they're very strict and that they won't accept applicants on if they don't achieve the grades they're expected to get. The offer is BBB, but I reckon i'll end up BBC and scared they won't let me onto their course? Any advice on Birmingham's lenience? Do I put it as my firm choice or do I stop wasting my time and focus on another uni???

Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on the course, with sciences they tend to be stricter.
