    I just got an interveiw at Tesco and I recently got a job at mcdonalds, I know Tesco will pay better I'm just wondering If I should take it if i'm offered the job. I'm under 18 btw

    Yes, you should take the job, if you think you would prefer it. The pay is definitely better than McDonalds and you can earn time and a half if you work Sundays. From what I have heard, this would be £10 an hour, although this may vary.

    I'm assuming this is a part time job alongside education. In this case, money is your main priority, so Tesco would be more beneficial, as they are both still in customer service roles.

    Yeh litterally I had 3 job interviews requests in 2 weeks, I went to Mcdonalds and 30 minutes later they hired me lol, and yeh I'm at college right now but I litterally got the Tesco interview call today after joing mcdonalds haha. I'm still going to go thanks

    Is it really pay and a half? I had my first shift today on a Sunday and I was just wondering because i've not seen anyone else say it and they mentioned it in my interview quite unclearly

    Yes it is. Recently my cousin had a job there and confirmed it was time and a half on Sundays. I've also heard through many other people who work there the same thing.

    I'm under 18 too, and get £75 a week in Tesco (until pay rises after 6 months!)
    I only work 9.5 hours a week though so this is one of the best paying jobs in my area
