Hello all!I am currently in the process of applying to UAL for one of the BA(Hons) Graphic Design courses. My obvious choices are LCC, CSM, Camberwell and Chelsea. I have had the chance to visit an open day at LCC but I live in New York City so I don't have the luxury of traveling to London just to visit the colleges (I wish)What I did like about LCC was the location and the facilities. What I didn't like was the administrators seemed like they didn't know too much about the course to provide detailed info and kept using the excuse of the fact that the course rapidly changes so they weren't able to give concrete guidance. While this may be true, some advice would've been better than none! I would be very much into a college that is more practical than technical, great facilities, intimate class sizes. Please feel free to announce your opinions/personal experiences!

My impression is that Graphic Design would fall largely in LCCs specialism, so their course is probably quite good. However somewhat inept administration and in some cases, tutors, aren't uncommon at all the UAL colleges from what I hear. The former is true of most universities in the UK (and no doubt beyond) however, in my experience.
CSM has probably the most international reputation, due to many high profile alumni. However I get the impression this leads to a sense of students having to prove themselves slightly there, and there is more expectation to live up to that standard than to be built up to it - however this is purely based on anecdotal commentary, and a colleague of mine who went there certainly was quite positive about the experience on the whole. Camberwell and Chelsea are apparently now a joint institution with the Wimbledon one - the "CC" partof CCW is quite well known for Fine Art, I'm not really sure how it rates for new media arts. The W I think had it's main specialism in theatre related things.
I'd probably suggest deciding between CSM or LCC mainly, unless you really like CCW in which case your question is answered
