I'm looking into this course. As far as I can tell it's pitched somewhere between GCSE & A-level maths. Though probably much closer to the former.

Did you enjoy it? Find it worthwhile? Has it helped in future courses? Was the difficulty about right...

    Any feedback would be helpful.

I am not doing core maths but from what I heaard, it has lots of statistics. According my sixth form, core maths is already recognised by unis and employers.

They ask people to do core maths if they are doing a science (or more) and they are not doing maths A level.

I think it's good if you're doing a BTEC, since if you do core maths, EPQ and a level 3 BTEC in whatever you gain a Tech Bacc which unis seem to like. I reckon it is good alongside A levels, especially if you're doing 3 and want a fourth but don't think you can fit it in with your schedule.

I personally didn't do it, but my friends who did say a bit of it was covered in GCSE higher papers and you gain knowledge that builds from it.
