    So, 26 days after the General Election in New Zealand, the centre-right governing party has been ousted despite being the largest party.

    Labour has agreed a coalition with the Greens and New Zealand First to form the next government.

    They're an interesting bunch. Economically leftist and socially conservative.

    Immigration in New Zealand is a bit of a strange one. The Labour party tend to favour restrictions on immigration while the centre right National party favours a more liberal and open immigration policy.
